GIHNJSI Squeezy Dumplings Recall Lawsuit: What Parents Need to Know
Did you buy GIHNJSI Squeezy Dumplings on Amazon, or was your child hurt by one? The CPSC reports a recall because the water beads inside can expand if swallowed. If you’re in a Northern California county, you may qualify — free case review, 24/7, no fees unless you get paid.

What Is the GIHNJSI Squeezy Dumplings Recall?
Why the CPSC pulled these squishy dumpling toys
On September 3, 2026, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of about 8,000 GIHNJSI Squeezy Dumplings toys. According to the recall notice, the toys were sold by Xiamen Liuhui Electric Technology Co., Ltd., doing business as Chenyuanhui, a company based in China, through the retailer Amazon.com from May 2026 through June 2026 for about $20. The company is reported to operate out of Xiamen, in China’s Fujian Province.
The recalled toys are described as translucent round squishy balls with cartoon faces, containing glitter-like particles and water beads, packaged in a tan plastic container shaped like a bamboo steamer. The words “SQUEEZY DUMPLINGS” and “SQUEEZE ME” appear on a removable label.
Wilshire Law Firm is investigating whether consumers who purchased these toys, or whose children were harmed by them, may have legal options. No court has made any determination, and the matter remains an investigation.
Water Bead Ingestion Hazard in Squishy Toys
What can happen if a child swallows a water bead
Water beads are small, absorbent polymer beads that swell when exposed to liquid. According to the CPSC, the Squeezy Dumplings toys contain water beads, and “if ingested, water beads expand and can pose deadly ingestion, choking, and intestinal obstruction hazards inside a child’s body, resulting in severe discomfort, vomiting, dehydration, and a risk of death to a child.”
The CPSC’s notice states that no incidents or injuries had been reported in connection with the GIHNJSI Squeezy Dumplings as of the recall date. Even so, a toy that is reported to contain expanding water beads may present risks that parents were not warned about at the time of purchase, particularly when the product was marketed to be squeezed and handled by children.
Do You Qualify for the GIHNJSI Squeezy Dumplings Investigation?
Who may be eligible to participate
You may qualify for this investigation if the following generally describes your situation:
- You have proof of purchase of GIHNJSI Squeezy Dumplings from a retailer, or you or your child were injured by the product.
- You are located in a Northern California county.
Eligibility is decided case by case, and these criteria may change as the investigation develops. The most reliable way to find out whether you qualify is to have a legal professional review your situation during a free case review.
What to Do If You Have Recalled Squeezy Dumplings
Steps to protect your child and preserve your options
The CPSC advises consumers to stop using the recalled toys immediately and contact Chenyuanhui for a full refund. Under the recall, consumers are asked to write “RECALLED” in permanent marker on the Squeezy Dumpling and its tan plastic container, dispose of the toy, and email a photo of the disposed toy to GIHNJSI_recall@163.com.
A few additional steps may help if you are considering your legal options:
- Save your Amazon order confirmation or other proof of purchase, along with any packaging or the removable label.
- Photograph the toy and its container before disposing of it, so you have a record of what you purchased.
- If a child was injured, keep any medical records and consider speaking with a legal professional about preserving the product itself before discarding it.
- Follow the CPSC’s safety instructions — pursuing a refund does not typically waive other rights you may have.

Generally, yes. Following the CPSC’s recall instructions to obtain a refund does not typically waive other legal rights you may have. Before disposing of the toy, consider photographing it and keeping your proof of purchase, and speak with a legal professional if a child was injured.
Your Amazon order confirmation, order history, or a bank or credit card statement showing the purchase can all help, as can the product packaging, the removable label, or a photo of the toy in its bamboo-steamer container. A legal professional can discuss what documentation may support your situation.
