Partner

Shervin G. Ghanoongooi, Esq. serves as a Partner at Wilshire Law Firm, helping clients pursue the financial compensation that they deserve. Shervin works with clients involved in wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases. He is fervently committed to helping those wronged by the negligence of corporations and others receive the care, compassion, and counsel they deserve. With rich experience as an attorney for class action and personal injury disputes, Shervin has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to assist his clients in successfully navigating through complex litigation involving six, seven, and even eight-figure cases. Since joining Wilshire Law Firm, Shervin has helped clients recover over $250,000,000.

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

Shervin’s practice bridges both litigation and pre-litigation, and it is this dual-sided experience that sets him apart. Because he has stood on both sides of a case – building it from intake through resolution, and preparing it to withstand the rigors of trial – Shervin is able to anticipate the complexities of litigation and trial long before they arise. He prepares every client’s case to go to trial from day one, ensuring that no opportunity for maximum recovery is left on the table simply because a case wasn’t built to withstand scrutiny. As Shervin often notes, echoing the principle that “trial by jury in civil cases is as essential to secure the liberty of the people as any one of the pre-existent rights of nature,” this trial-ready approach isn’t just a strategy – it’s a safeguard of his clients’ fundamental rights.

Among his most notable results, Shervin has help secure a $14.5 million settlement in a wrongful death case, a $3.5 million settlement in a motor vehicle accident case, and a $2.75 million settlement in a premises liability case.

Shervin displays a fierce dedication to supporting his clients, and he takes tremendous pride in empowering clients while securing maximum restitution on their behalf. Additionally, Mr. Ghanoongooi is a renowned member of multiple prestigious legal organizations such as the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) and Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), where he serves as the Education Chair of the DEI Committee. He is also a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Shervin has been recognized as a National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 from 2023 to 2026, and as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2023 to 2026. He was also honored by the Witkin Legal Institute with the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Pre-Trial Litigation and Procedure.

Philanthropy plays a significant role in Shervin’s personal philosophy, as he currently serves on the Executive Board of several 503© non-profits. He embodies this commitment to humanitarianism as evidenced by his history of philanthropic work in communities and with institutions. While obtaining his Juris Doctor from the University of West Los Angeles, Shervin dedicated over 200 hours to helping families obtain accommodations for special needs children. Moreover, he also served on the executive board of the longest-running volunteer tutorial project at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). Shervin’s inspirational desire to get care and resources to those in need acts as the foundation for his personal life and his career, making him a powerful asset in any legal case.
